Artist Yaacov Heller To Sell "Rose Collection" on TV
Pompano Beach, FL July 29, 2004 -- Pompano Beach-based sculptor, jeweler, and silversmith Yaacov Heller has discovered the art of making money -- he's taking his unique creative designs to the airwaves, with a rare opportunity to buy pieces from his Rose Collection on QVC, Sunday, August 1, between 8:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m.
Heller's talents have given him an audience with world leaders, statesmen, entertainers, movie stars, and most importantly, fine art collectors. He recently caught the attention of some of the most recognizable names in the fashion and entertainment industries when he was commissioned by Mara Beltrami to design the award for the First Annual Golden Needle Awards (GNA). The awards first premiere was held at the Regent Beverly Wilshire Hotel, June 2004. Carol Connors, Academy Award nominated songwriter, and Barbi Benton, actress, recording artist, and songwriter, honored Heller by also wearing his jewelry to the gala event.
Heller's reputation secured him a spot on the television shopping network (QVC) and his unique rose jewelry is the only line from the collection that will be made available to viewers. These pieces are first sculpted in wax and then cold-cast in electroformed silver, a technique which Heller was instrumental in developing.
From Heller's Pompano Beach studio/gallery people can see his artwork firsthand, and the fine detail and quality that goes into his sculptures and jewelry. Heller has been commissioned time and again to create historically significant gifts for kings and queens, presidents, prime ministers, and other international dignitaries. His creations celebrate the inspiration of the Bible, the beauty of nature, and the joys of living.
